Digital Indicators
Digital Control and Readout Options
For users that do not require the power and sophistication of Windows/PC based
systems, ADMET offers a line of digital
indicators
and controllers to satisfy a variety of test requirements. Indicate peak load/stress,
perform a test under
strain rate control, print a stress-strain curve or download raw test data
and results for further analysis and reporting. From simple peak load indicators
to fast-acting digital closed loop controllers and displays, ADMET has a solution
for you.
Gauge Buster Digital Indicators are versatile digital indicators designed for a variety of materials, product, remote on-wite and force calibration testing applications.
The Gauge Buster product line includes the Gauge Buster, Gauge Buster PLUS, Gauge Buster LP, Gauge Buster Calibration, and Gauge Buster Recorder.
- pi Peak Load Indicator is ADMET’s lowest cost readout. Features include live load and peak load with load rate display available as an option. The pi has multiple calibration points for maximum system accuracy. pi Peak Load Indicator Brochure (128k PDF)
- The DC16 Load and Stress Indicator incorporates all of the Gauge Buster features plus a parallel printer port and optional second channel of displacement or strain input. This allows you to display displacement/strain rates and generate hardcopy printouts of load/stress vs. time or load/stress vs. strain curves at the machine. DC16 Brochure (54k PDF)
- The eP Digital Controller is a closed loop servo controllerfor
tension and compression testing machines. It is apresettable
unit that simplifies
materials and product test-ing and requires a minimum amount of training. The
ePfeatures load and crosshead position inputs plus enhancedclosed-loop servo
capabilities for accurate and repeatabletesting. It eP provides one pre test
and two test control seg-ments.
The eP is an inexpensive and easier-to-use alternative toPC/Windows based materials testing systems. It can storesix test methods in memory so that the operator can per-form a variety of tests quickly and error free. eP Digital Controller Brochure (288k PDF)
- The Precise Digital Controller is designed for manual or
servo-equipped tension and compression testing
machines. It is a presettable
unit that simplifies
materials testing and requires a minimum amount of training. The Precise features
load, crosshead position and strain inputs plus enhanced closed-loop servo
capabilities for accurate and repeatable testing.
The Precise is an inexpensive and easier-to-use alternative to PC/Windows based materials testing systems. It can store three test procedures in memory so that the operator can perform a variety of tests quickly and error free. Precise Digital Controller Brochure (116k PDF)
- The WinCOM Plus serial communications, data management and plotting program allows you to transmit and save raw test data and results to a remote computer. This allows you to view results and raw data in common spreadsheet programs like MS Excel. You can also generate load/stress vs. time or load/stress vs. strain plots and overlay up to 10 curves on one graph. < see a sample plot > WinComPlus Brochure (270k PDF)
WinCOM Live is a lower cost Windows-based Materials Testing System that has the ability to view a real-time XY curve, perform basic calculations, store test data to disk and export to common spreadsheet programs. WinCOM Live uses the run-time version of National Instrument's LabVIEW. Experienced programmers can also purchase WinCOM Live as a virtual instrument (VI) for customization.
