To celebrate the close of another baseball season, we turned our attention to testing some equipment well-known to any player of the sport: bat and ball. In this video, we use a 3-point bend fixture to see how much force a bat can withstand before it breaks. We will also test a pair of balls: one training softball and one hardball. Using our MTESTQuattro software, we’ll compare the performance of both balls.
