Norwood, Mass. – February 26, 2013 – ADMET Inc., a provider of materials testing machines, will be exhibiting at the Adhesion Society Annual Meeting on March 3rd to the 5th at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida.
This will be the 35th annual international event that is geared toward the science and engineering of adhesives. This exhibition is meant for the sharing of information between scientists and engineers from around the world related to the field of adhesion.
This annual meeting will start with an award symposium and introductory remarks by Kenneth Shull from Northwestern University. The event includes exhibits and talks on liquid interactions, structural adhesives, contact mechanics, and bio-derived materials. In addition, a two-day course on Adhesion Science and Technology will be provided. Registration for the event is available on the Adhesion Society website.
ADMET is exhibiting at the meeting in order to show adhesive scientists how testing machines can be a much-needed part of the process of creating tapes, sealants, and bonding materials. On display will be the ADMET eXpert 7601 Adhesive Testing System for determining the structural properties and strength of adhesive products.
The ADMET adhesive testing system can benefit the adhesion industry by providing a method for calculating the peel strength, bond, and shear properties of their products. The accessories that will be showcased along with the eXpert 7601 testing system include the 90° and 180° peel fixtures.
Included with the test systems are easy to use software and controllers that simplify the testing process by automatically averaging peel strength loads over given distances and providing constant-rate-of-extension and constant-rate-of-loads, which allow for multiple adhesive tests.
ADMET offers the eXpert 7601 testing machine along with a vast collection of grips and fixtures to choose from for the adhesive and peel testing industry. This machine meets all ASTM and ISO accuracy requirements and enables users to conduct multiple adhesive tests on a single system.
The company will be attending the annual exhibition in order to show adhesive scientists and manufacturers how testing machines can benefit their industry by developing better quality products with higher peel, shear, and bond strength.
