Eccentric roller tensile grips are self-tightening grips preferred for use with high-elongation materials such as elastomers to run ASTM D412, ASTM D624, and more. These grips ensure constant clamping force throughout the test as the material elongates. Accommodating thin samples, the tightening mechanism using the roller allows testing of materials that would normally slip from standard vise grips.
