Advanced Calibration Device
The Gauge Buster 3 Calibration Unit is designed for calibrating material testing machines in accordance with ASTM E74 Class A standards. Ideal for use by service personnel, it ensures accurate force, time, speed, and displacement calibrations, meeting ASTM E4, ASTM E2658, ASTM E2309 requirements when paired with certified equipment.
Two units are available:
Gauge Buster 3 Calibration – Load
The Gauge Buster 3 Calibration Load unit can store up to 10 load cell calibrations, each with 15 points of linearization. It also includes a remote push button for freezing and recording current load data directly from the display. Simply certify the Gauge Buster 3 Load Calibration unit with the calibration load cell to perform ASTM E4 calibrations.
Gauge Buster 3 Calibration – Plus
In addition to Load calibrations, the Gauge Buster 3 Calibration Plus unit is able to calibrate testing system’s speed and displacement per ASTM E2658 and ASTM E2309, respectively.
Battery Powered Portable Design
Both units are offered in a pelican case for the technician to easily carry the Gauge Buster 3 Calibration units on the road. A rechargeable battery pack, housed within the GB3 enclosure, provides up to 20 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The unit includes charging and fully charged indicator LEDs, along with a power cord for convenient recharging.
Optional Software
GaugeSafe Data Exchange software is available as an optional add-on to transfer transducer calibration data to GaugeSafe and save calibration files for archiving. Stored calibration files can be uploaded to the Gauge Buster 3 through the GaugeSafe software.
