Our eXpert 8900 Axial-Torsion Fatigue Testing Systems come equipped with our powerful MTESTQuattro controller making them ideal for performing fatigue testing on samples that require both an axial and torsional load. The eXpert 8900 can test a wide range of materials and devices like screws in torsion, medical implants, metallic bone plates, flexible circuits, elastomers, body fusion devices, luer taper fittings, adhesives, and biomaterials.
The eXpert 8900 features high axial and torsional rigidity. It also features unlimited torsion actuator rotation, wide column spacings, large actuator strokes for maximum flexibility, optional crosshead lift, and loading frequencies up to 20 Hz.
ADMET also offers a full line of axial-torsion fatigue grips and chucks. Specimens can be tested in an optional fluid bathwith temperature control for producing the desired physiological environment. The eXpert 8900 can also be fitted with an environmental chamber for testing in a temperature-controlled environment (-80°C to 350°C).
