F-280DT Environmental Chamber

ADMET’s environmental chamber is a two-in-one system (furnace/oven and freezer) that can be configured for use with single or dual-column universal testing machines. The F-280DT environmental chamber is the standard configuration and can test materials up to 350˚ C. Either LN2 or CO2 cooling gases can be used with the chamber. Standard dimensions are 220 x 220 x 580 mm (8.6 x 8.6 x 22.8 in). Environmental chamber dimensions and temperature ranges can be customized upon request.

One of the more common applications of the F-280DT Environmental Chamber is for tensile testing at elevated or high temperatures.

ADMET environmental chambers come with their own controller and can also be set up to communicate with MTESTQuattro™. Chambers come with slide rack rails that allow the chamber to be pulled out of the machine when not in use. The 4-glass-layered door window is heated to reduce icing and condensation during low-temperature testing. An optional interior or door light can also be added. A full line of complementary grips, pull rods and extensometers to be used with the environmental chambers is available. The optional accessories allow for a variety of testing within the furnace/freezer, from tensile testing, fatigue testing, compression testing, flexural testing (bending), and other custom test fixtures.
